The aim of the conference will be to provide an interdisciplinary arena fostering the close cooperation between material scientists, technologists, manufacturing engineers and computer scientists in academia and industry.

All these researchers, academics and industrialists are invited to discuss and promote early dissemination of research results and technology transfer in all areas of sheet metal processing and characterization. The conference will provide an opportunity for those working on experimental research as well as those involved in analytical, numerical and physical modelling to present their work to an international audience.
