Proceedings

Each presentation within SheMet 2021 must be presented by a paper within the proceedings of the conference. The paper has to be written in excellent English. The formatting has to be according to the publishers guidelines. The contributions must have a lenght of either 6 or 8 pages. The managing of the proceedings will be carried out using the publishers online tools. Access to these tools and templates for the formatting will be provided in due time.

The proceedings of SheMet 2021 will be published as a special issue of Trans Tech Publications periodical journal Key Engineering Materials, which is fully available online. Authors will receive free online "author access" via their email address as it appears in the paper and a password supplied through TTP. Via this access you will be able to download your papers as PDF and order reprints online. In addition participants will receive full online access to the entire proceedings.

The journal currently is indexed in SCOPUS (www.scopus.com) ISSN: 1662-9795, EI Compendex (www.ei.org), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts CSA (www.csa.com), Chemical Abstracts CA (www.cas.org), Google and Google Scholar (google.com), ISI ISTP (www.isinet.com), Institution of Electrical Engineers IEE (www.iee.org) and many others. Your publication will thus be very visible.

Therefor full paper peer reviews are mandatory for all contributions that are to be accepted and published within the proceedings. With respect to this requirement the schedule has to be kept very strictly. There will be no extension of deadlines for paper submission. All times are Central European Time (CET, Berlin).

Please use the links given on this page to templates for the abstract, the full paper and the keyword list. Offprints can be ordered at TTP. Though a copyright transfer form has to be filled, the organisers have agreed with TTP that "Authors retain the right to publish an extended, significantly updated version in another periodical".

We are looking forward to receiving your papers.

Presentations

All presentations must be held in English. The lecture halls will be equipped with a computer providing MS Office 2010 and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Please upload your presentation prior to the session your are presenting in.

Every accepted contribution is to be presented by a conference participant. Participants should not give more than 1 presentation. Please make sure that you have registered at least 1 participant before December 16th, 2020 for each accepted contribution in order to have your paper included in the proceedings.
