Each presentation within SheMet 2023 must be presented by a paper within the proceedings of the conference. The paper has to be written in excellent English. The formatting has to be according to the publishers guidelines. The contributions must have a lenght of either 6 or 8 pages. Information on the used editorial tool will be published in due time.

The proceedings of SheMet 2023 will be published as an issue of Materials Research Proceedings published by MaterialsResearchForum LLC. The papers will be published OPEN ACCESS.

The journal has the following ISSN: 2474-3941 (print), ISSN 2474-395X (online). It is currently indext by CPCI, Scopus, Google Scholar, Inspec database, CAS and others. Your publication will thus be very visible and easy to share.

Therefor full paper peer reviews are mandatory for all contributions that are to be accepted and published within the proceedings. With respect to this requirement the schedule, that has yet to be announced, has to be kept very strictly. There will be no extension of deadlines for paper submission. All times are Central European Time (CET, Berlin).

  • Templates for the formatting will be provided on this page.
  • All papers must be written and submitted in MS Word.
  • Every paper will have to include 3 keywords. The first 2 of these will have to be chosen from the CIRP Unified Keyword List.
  • Authors are not required to sign copryright form. Authors who wish to publish a paper are asked to submit a paper only if all authors of the paper can agree in full to the terms of the here documented license.



All presentations must be held in English. The lecture halls will be equipped with a computer providing MS Office 2010 and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Authors are requested to use these computers for their presentations to avoid hardware changeover times. There will be staff to assist you in the lecture halls. Please upload your presentation prior to the session your are presenting in.

Every accepted contribution is to be presented by a conference participant. Participants should not give more than 1 presentation. There will be a due date for registration to have your paper included in the proceedings.
